Taiwo Longe

Taiwo is a seasoned IT, Information Security, Cyber Security, Strategy and Risk Management Executive and consultant with sound managerial, leadership, analytical and technical skills. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Certified Checkpoint Security Engineer (CCSE) and an ISO 27001:2013 (ISMS) Lead Auditor with over 30 years substantial knowledge and experience. Additionally, Taiwo holds a degree in Law and a qualified solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.

Taiwo joined the services of Central Bank of Nigeria in june 2011 as a deputy director before elevation as a Director in 2021 He had previously worked in the the UK for 19 years before returning to Nigeria at the request of PwC to head their Information Security Advisory Practice

He worked in various industries in the Uk including as a Solicitor of the supreme court of England and Wales, Credit Suisse First Boston Investment banking where he worked as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) managing 8 countries in Europe, Texaco Oil and Gas, PwC consulting where he also worked as CISO for 8 countries in Africa including Nigeria and 7 countries in the Middle East. Also worked in manufacturing and UK Education sector.

Some of his achievement at the CBN is creating the first Information Security unit in IT dept and leading the team that achieved the first ever international certification for the bank in 2013 the ISO 27001 and with his team developed the Cybersecurity blue print for the bank which is now been used for the cbn ISOC and been extended to the financial services industry.

After retirement from CBN as a director in November 2021 he Joined MRS Holdings as an Executive director for strategy and planning where he has assisted in positioning the the conglomerate as a global player in all the industries they operate in. Expecially in their oil and Gas business

He is married with 3 grown up children

He is an ardent supporter of Arsenal FC. A gooner for life
