Biography
Ahmadu Danjuma, FCNA, FSI, is an accomplished aviation administrator, security professional, and seasoned public sector leader whose distinguished career spans over three decades of dedicated service to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and the Nigerian aviation industry at large.
Born on 21st May 1968 in Daura, Katsina State, Mr. Danjuma has demonstrated unwavering commitment to excellence, professional growth, and national development. His academic journey reflects a strong foundation in management, accounting, and administration, holding qualifications including a Diploma in Insurance (1992), HND in Accounting (2003), PGD in Business Administration (2012), and a Master’s in Business Administration (2015) from Bayero University Kano.
A Fellow of the Certified National Accountants (FCNA) and the Security Institute (fsi), he has consistently exemplified integrity, competence, and leadership in all his professional engagements.
Mr. Danjuma’s career in FAAN is marked by progressive responsibilities and impactful leadership. He has served as:
· Regional General Manager/Airport Manager, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja (2025–date)
· Regional General Manager/Airport Manager, Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (Feb–Oct 2025)
· Airport Manager, Sultan Abubakar III International Airport, Sokoto (2023–2025)
· Deputy General Manager, AVSEC (Intelligence & Investigation) (2019–2023)
He is a committed labour leader and has held several positions from NUATE in his early years in service and currently an ATSSSAN Leader in FAAN.
His commitment to continuous learning is evident in his attendance of numerous local and international trainings, including advanced aviation security training, leadership development, public–private partnership (PPP) frameworks, industrial relations, and strategic command responsibility just to mention a few.
A mentor, trainer, and mobilizer, Mr. Danjuma is widely respected for his leadership qualities, team spirit, and dedication to improving productivity, customer service, and stakeholder engagement within the aviation sector.
